What are the different CALLDIREK® plans?
CALLDIREK® has 3 different kinds of monthly service plans to choose from:
- CALLDIREK® Basic: FREE 500 minutes/$11.99 per month to call on-net countries /regions.
- CALLDIREK® Residential Unlimited: $22.99 per month to call on-net countries/regions.
- CALLDIREK® Business Unlimited: FREE unlimited minutes $49.99 per month to call on-net countries/regions.
If calls are made to destinations not included in your calling plan, or you’re per minute charges exceed your calling plan’s minutes, they will be deducted from your pre-paid account balance.

Do I need to have my computer on at the same time?
With CallDirek®, there is no need to keep your computer on while using the CallDirek® service. You will however need to keep your cable or DSL modem on in order for the CallDirek® phone adapter to stay connected.

Are conversations on a CallDirek® line secure?
A conversation on a CallDirek® line is actually more secure than one over an ordinary phone line. A VoIP conversation is broken up into pieces called packets. These packets are sent over the Internet and reassembled at the listener’s end. Packets contain no meaningful identifiers in them. Your account information, for example, is not transmitted in these packets. The packets don’t necessarily take the same path over the Internet, and will travel only to the intended location (the listener). This means that someone can’t simply tap into your conversation, or redirect your packets somewhere else.
Additionally, our servers that handle calls have various security features to prevent unauthorized access to the internal network. All of this makes CallDirek® an extremely secure means of communication.

If I choose a number that is out of the area code that I live in, will people outside of my local area be charged for calling me?
You can choose a number anywhere CallDirek® has service. Please keep in mind that if you choose a number that is outside of your local calling area, normal long distance, regional or local toll charges may apply for anyone who calls you depending on their telephone provider and their calling plan.

Will I still be listed in directory assistance?
CallDirek® values your privacy. We do not list your number without your permission. If you are transferring your number to CallDirek® and were listed in your local telephone directory's white pages before, you have the option to retain your listing. Simply check the two boxes on the Number Transfer Authorization form.
If you choose a new CallDirek® number, you will not be listed in a telephone directory.
If you wish to stop receiving telemarketing phone calls, you may go to https://www.donotcall.gov?refer_id=WEBFT0706010001W1 to register your number on the National Do Not Call List.

Can I dial 900 numbers with my CallDirek® service?
CallDirek® does not provide service to toll area codes such as 900.
